Notice on measures to ease the value-added tax burden on the supply of petroleum products (regular gasoline and diesel)
On 20 March 2026, Ministry of Economy and Finance issued a notice on measures to ease the value-added tax burden on the supply of petroleum products, namely regular gasoline and diesel.
The notice reduces the value-added tax rate from 10% to 4%, with the state bearing the remaining 6%, effective from 20 March 2026. It also provides guidance on invoicing, tax calculation, and e-Filing implementation for enterprises importing and distributing petroleum products.
